Founded in 1935 (Established as Milott in 1956).
The products proceed with various originality based on many years of the experience and technology.
In recent years, due to various influences such as the rise of emerging countries and the increase in sales channels.
Demand for cosmetics is diversifying and the market is changing.
At Milott, we also deal with rapidly changing “needs and wants”.
In order to meet these demands, we are working on research and development day to day,
including improving the quality of conventional products.
Produce high quality product for customer satisfactory. Milott researches and developments both material and life Science.

To solve the Material Science and Life Science issues that Milott is working on, we are conducting research in close collaboration with external institutions such as Kanagawa University and Meiji Pharmaceutical University.
We provide high-value products and solutions that truly satisfy consumers and clients through technology dissemination through conference presentations and paper publications, and product proposals.
"Three-phase emulsification" is an emulsification technology
invented by special guest professor Mr.Tajima of Kanagawa University and others.
This is a new emulsification method using hydrophilic soft nanoparticles.
We will use this technology to develop new cosmetics.

CDS (Cosmetic Delivery System) is a system that delivers the minimum amount of useful ingredients
in cosmetics through transdermal absorption.
This technology delivers active ingredients exactly where it is needed,
maximizing efficacy while minimizing side effects.
Using CDS technology, we are developing cosmetics that are safer and more effective.
Human skin has a barrier called the stratum corneum. This barrier prevents water loss from leaving the body and prevents the entry of foreign substances from the external environment. Cosmetics contain useful ingredients, but the reality is that these ingredients are also difficult to absorb through the skin due to the barrier. CDS (Cosmetic Delivery System) technology was developed for cosmetics, taking inspiration from DDS (Drug Delivery System) used in medicine. Milott is developing nanoparticles such as vesicles and MilosomeTM as carriers for carrying useful ingredients.
